Alot of times on my eyes I'll just throw on some Estee Lauder double wear shadow cream and slap on some eyeliner and mascara and head out the door. What I love about the Shadow cream is that it seriously stays in place and doesn't crease. I use it as a highlighter around my eyes and on my cheeks to give me a dewy glow. It runs around 17$ but it seriously lasts FOREVER. I got mine a few months ago and it still looks like I just bought it. You can also add multiple layers to make it more pigmented and it comes in loads of colors.
When I'm wanting to look a little more put together and take the time to put eye shadow on I currently am really into Kat Von D's makeup. It's super pretty and pigmented and gives you great smokey eyes. My mom bought me her book of shadows for Easter and that was is I fell in love. She has loads of beautiful pallets. My favorite colors to mix are Peanut (really pretty shimmery beige), Taxidermy (shimery bronze) and Caravaggio (dark matte brown). peanut is the top right and taxidermy is the left brown one.
for natural brow smokey eyes (most days) I use maybelline line express eyeliner in brownish black. It smudges great but still stays where you put it and it comes with the great little smudger end thinger so that's one less brush you have to deal with. It also won and allure beauty award and the cost is great, at around $4!
I'm also a huge fan on MAC's eye Kohl. it gives you this awesome inky black look and you can buy water proof or regular. which is awesome. It's about $15 but it lasts forever. usually 1 lasts me around a year and the colors are great! I love smolder for black but they have another called feline that's even darker. I'm not sure if they still have that one or not but it was wun-da-ful.
SO, I'm sort of freaked out about getting skin cancer and wrinkles exc. so I stay out of the sun quite a bit, I'm totally fine with not being THAT tan but I don't want to look like a dead body either. I'm pretty lucky and tan really easy, like I said after one weekend I had to buy new make up. On those days where I am looking a little on the super pale side I use St. Tropez tanning mousse. This stuff is amazing. It's doesn't really smell like self tanner and I've never once applied it and looked streaky. The mouse is tinted brown and you just keep rubbing it in till it's all even. SUPER EASY. It's kind of pricey with it being $30 for a 4 oz and $40 for an 8 oz but it lasts a while and it's seriously amazing stuff. I just rub it on my face after I moisturize and before I put on my make up and it gives me a wonderful glow! I'm really sort of obsessed with it. No orange or streaks and always even!
Finally, Mascara. I just sort of discovered my eyelashes. That might sound weird but in high school I used to just sort of slap on some mascara and call it good. Now I figured out how to curl and apply mascara to my lashed to give me these long beautiful lashes. My favorite mascara is Maybelline great lash mascara in Blackest Black. This has won tons of awards and is sort of a classic mascara that almost every girl has owned. I runs about $6 and gives you great smooth long lashes. NO CLUMPS!
A great place to look for beauty products is Allure.com... they have all sorts of best of awards they give out. they pay people to find out what's best.... they even ask people to vote on their favorites. So if it's on there. It's probably good.
