Knitting, more coffee, and cupcakes!

I hate posting "personal" things on this blog but i thought what they hey, it's my weekend of nothingness and I'm doing fashion-ee things so go for it. I decided to take a little road trip with my momma to Kansas City. While she gets her hair done I've been wondering around this little plaza area shopping and what not. She was like YOU HAVE TO GOT IN THIS STORE. So, I did. Why not right? I am so glad I did because I do believe I have fallen back in love with knitting. As I type this I'm sitting in "Latte Land", not a joke that's seriously the name, knitting. This hot guy behind the counter keeps giving me weird looks but I don't care! Why? because i just bought this AMAZING vintage acrylic, wool, nylon blended yarn. I also bought a book called pints and pearls some knitting needles, a peanutbutter cupcake, a coffee, and yes another coffee. Don't judge. Two coffees in the same hour is totally normal! I also learned about this awesome website called Ravely. It's basically the bomb with patterns and a project keeper tracker thing. It's just great. Hard to explain it's awesomeness since I, myself are knew to it. So check it out and I'll keep you updated on my hat! WHEW! I also posted a pic of my morning adventure so you can enjoy with me!

I'm making this Awesome slouchy hat. it's seriously wonderful. My brother even said he wanted one (via facebook.. he has yet to actually see it).
